SAS Will Make Calls from the Aircraft Possible

By the end of the year, it will be possible for SAS passengers to send text messages and call from the selected plane.

The airplane is one of the few places left where you don’t risk to be bothered by the page’s mobile talk. But the tranquility is perhaps about to be over.

At the end of the year, SAS will provide passengers with the opportunity to use mobile phones on board the SAS plane, which also offers Wi-Fi internet access. Passengers will be able to send text and multimedia messages, retrieve data, and not least the rings from the plane. It writes our site.

It will initially be possible to call and send sms messages from 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Mobile telephony will be supported by Panasonic eXPhone technology, as well as their eXConnect system that provides access to a bi-directional broadband connection in aeroplanes.
